On November 13, 2021, Independent HR Society arranged an online sds on “Microsoft Excel”, the masterclass was conducted by Mr. Tushar Roy, who is currently working as the Associate Manager, Human Resources, at BRAC Bank Limited.

Mr. Tushar Roy focused on some of the major functions of excel including cell reference, Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Logical functions which can be used in effective data analysis. He provided a practice sheet to the participants in today’s session so that the participants can experience the session practically.

The session ended with an interactive question answer segment where the participants got the opportunity of asking questions to the speaker. Mr. Roy shared his experience and ideas on the importance of excel in academic and professional efficiency. Excel is a very handy tool to compile, filter, search, organize and simplify large amounts of data to prepare analysis reports. In corporate life, effective and practical knowledge in vital skills helps to open the door full of opportunities and success.
