Since, obtaining information in today's world is only a matter of minutes; the education system also has to be able to cope with the monumental changes brought about by technological break-through. We have already entered the age of information, and to adapt to this new age the younger generations have to be prepared to create a better and brighter future. This is what IUB has been striving to accomplish. Specifically, the distant learning centre will bring the following benefits for School of Business, IUB:
- Successful implementation of the project will help IUB to spread its degree programs throughout the country irrespective of potential students'/learners' mobility issue.
- Distance learning centre will help the existing faculty members to be updated technologically at par with global standard.
- Finally, the project is intended to enhance the institutional capacity in terms of delivery of educational services augmented by the use of high-tech method of learning.
