IBR is a bi-annual scholarly journal at par with international standard.
IBR is a peer-reviewed journal. It’s all articles are subject to blind review.
Its aim is to supplement the teaching and research activities through publication of research-based papers and abstracts of Ph.D. and M.Phil. dissertations as well as related book reviews.
It plans to publish papers relating to business administration and socio-economic development. The journal is targeted at both academic researchers and management professionals.
It invites paper concerning application of theory to real life business administration/management activities where the findings would be interesting and useful to entrepreneurs, academics, researchers and students of business administration.
All submissions for publication should be original and must not be under consideration for possible publication by another journal.
Papers should demonstrate the authors’ own thoughts, judgments and results of analysis, methodology and past researches (i.e., literature review).
Papers should follow the APA style of reference citations (the style of citing references has been shown in the following pages).
Authors should avoid using ‘I’, ‘My’, ‘me’, ‘you’ and also imperative sentences like ‘consider…,’ ‘Let us consider….’, ‘Let us suppose…’, ‘Supposing….’, ‘We suppose…’, ‘One may/might suppose…’and the like.
Name (s) and Designation(s) of the author(s) with title of the article should be provided on a separate sheet.
The responsibilities for the statements made and views expressed by authors in the articles, other contributions as well as the legality of copy-righted materials rest entirely on the authors. Publication of the papers does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of the School of Business and the Editorial Board.
Authors must ensure the accuracy of all statements – particularly data, quotations, and references- before submitting manuscripts.
Copyright of the accepted papers would vest with Independent Business Review (IBR).
Since the editor is responsible for proof-reading and editing, he/she reserves the right to change or modify sentence for the sake of improvement, without causing distortion in the meaning or idea the author of an articles has tried to convey.
