Md. Zahidul Hasnain is the Senior Administrator, Network and System in Central Information Technology Services at Independent University, Bangladesh and is the core member of the IUB Data Center Team. He is also the IT In-Charge of School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE). With over 18 years of professional experience at IUB as a skilled Network and System Administrator, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Prior to this, Mr. Hasnain spent two years as a System Administrator across various organizations.
He is a Certified Instructor with Cisco Networking Academy at IUB and has been recognized with the prestigious Instructor Excellence Advanced Level Award from Cisco Networking Academy in both 2022 and 2023. He has also been recognised with the highest level instructor award, Instructor Excellence Expert Level award in 2024 that has placed him among the top 10% instructors globally. Additionally, he holds an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at IUB, where he has been teaching the Data Communication and Networking Lab course for the past three years.
Mr. Hasnain is also Certified in Cybersecurity and is an active member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2). Furthermore, he is a System Security Practitioner.
