School of Business, IUB organized a seminar titled “The Emergence of Advertising: Bangladesh and the World” on March 3, 2016 at IUB. The key note speaker of the seminar was Mr. Ferdous Hasan Neville, Executive Director of Asiatic Marketing Communications Limited (AMCL). The main focus of the seminar was to address the advertising trends in Bangladesh and rest of the world, and discuss the differences as well as common linkages. Mr. Neville spoke about different aspects and stages of branding and advertising and shared his 15 years of practical experience with the students. A substantial number of advertisements were displayed and discussed throughout the session. The seminar was concluded with the question and answer session for the better insight of the topic.
