Dr. A. N. M. Shibly Noman Khan is an Associate Professor of Management and Coordinator of Management, Marketing, Management Information System, International Business and Human Resources Management, School of Business at Independent University Bangladesh. He received PhD from University of Queensland, Australia and MSS from University of Dhaka. His research interests include Globalization and WTO, Entrepreneurship Development, Micro-finance and Micro-enterprises in third world countries, Strategic Management and Peace and Diplomacy. Dr. Khan teaches different management courses currently. Previously, he taught Human Resources Management, Business Ethics and development economics courses. Dr. Khan has several academic publications in both national and international journals. Dr. Khan is the founder member of A R Khan Trust and active member of different charity organizations. Dr. Khan is also associated with Yunus center and actively promoting students to become tomorrow’s leader in Bangladesh.

  • Served as a “Management Trainee” in one of the leading NGO of Bangladesh – ASA, which has already proved to be a successful MFI of the country during the period 15th June to 15th July 2002. In course of the training had practical exposure of micro finance activities from various angles at the field level of six branches of ASA at Savar.
  • Served as a part- time lecturer in the BBA program of the Asian University of Bangladesh since May 2002. In the capacity of a lecturer I have been teaching Introduction to Sociology, Comparative Political System and Comparative Social System in both Distance and Campus mode.
  • Served as a part- time lecturer in the BBA program of the State University of Bangladesh since February 2007. In the capacity of a lecturer I have been teaching Industrial Psychology and Sociology.
  • Served as a full-time faculty in the BBA program of the American International University of Bangladesh since May 2007. In the capacity of a faculty have been teaching Introduction to Business, Principles of Management and Introduction to Sociology, Basics in Social Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, and Organizational Behavior.
  • Have been serving as a full-time faculty (Assistant Professor) in the MBA program of the Independent University of Bangladesh since May 2008. In the capacity of a faculty have been teaching Strategic Management, International Business, Business Ethics, Leadership and Conflict Management, Manpower Planning and Forecasting, Bangladesh Human Resource Management and International Business in Bangladesh. Inaddition of teaching, have been serving as a coordinator of Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing and International Business since November 1st 2011.
  • Presented a paper entitled “Women Micro-Entrepreneurship and Social Capital” Conference name The Problems and Prospects of Women Entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, held in University of Women’s Federation College, 17th March 2004, Dhaka.
