Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Nevin is an Assistant Professor of Department of Finance, School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE) at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Prior to joining IUB, he worked as a Manager of Portfolio Operation and Research division in a renowned asset management company that has specialization in launching mutual fund and operation, alternative investment fund operation and corporate advising. Dr. Nevin also used to work as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE), IUB and taught in both undergraduate and graduate program. Dr. Nevin completed his Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from East West University, Bangladesh. Then he completed his second MBA and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with distinction from Nagasaki University, Japan. His research interests are in the area of Corporate Governance, Financial Markets and Institutions, Capital Market, Corporate Finance, SME and Startup Finance.
