Dr. Md. Taslim Uddin is an assistant professor at the School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE), Independent University Bangladesh. He is also a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Economics and Statistics, University of Napoli Federico ii, Italy. Prior to joining IUB, he worked as a full-time faculty member at American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), lecturer in Finance at Southern University Bangladesh, and adjunct faculty at Bangladesh Marine Academy, Chittagong. He also served as a teaching fellow at Asian University for Women. Dr. Taslim comes from a diversified academic background. He did his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chittagong, majoring in Finance and Banking. He did his second master’s in Economics and Finance (MEF) from the Napoli School of Economics, Italy. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics and Banking from Università Politecnica Delle Marche, Ancona. His research interests include Financial Integration, Household Finance, Empirical Banking, Applied Econometrics, Discrimination studies.
