Since January 2023, I have been working as an Assistant professor in Accounting
at Independent University Bangladesh. I am a qualitative researcher and academic
in Accounting.
I was born and spent my childhood in the Pirojpur district, Bangladesh. After
completing graduation- BBA in Accounting Information Systems at the Faculty of
Business Studies, The University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2007, I moved to the UK
and settled with my family. There I studied MSc and completed PhD in Accounting
at the University of Essex, UK. My research interest centre on cultural and
structural influence in management accounting and control (MAC) practice.
