Independent Economic Society (IES) recently organized a competition “Brain Teasers” on 17th February, 2016 for the students of School of Business. Total of 15 teams, with 3 participants in each team, participated in the competition and four teams screened in to the second round by an aptitude test. The second round was an open minded session where participants were shown a video on which they had to answer few questions. Two finalist teams debated on the topic “High GDP over quality of life”. Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Dean of School of Business, Prof. Aminur Rahman, Head of Economics Department, Dr. Mohammad Osman Gani, Associate Professor, Economics and distinguished faculties from the department were present in the award giving ceremony.
