As a partial requirement of the course Apparel Marketing & Merchandising (MKT-460), IUB, School of Business organized an industrial visit with the collaboration of Business Student Society (BSS) to “Knit Asia” Ltd (KAL) on November 3, 2016. Knit Asia Ltd is one of the leading readymade garment manufacturing factories in Bangladesh. The main objective of the visit was to provide practical exposure to the students about contemporary issues of apparel industries. The tour was scheduled to visit different areas of the factory. The production and operation team of KAL thoroughly explained the whole production process and later on, conducted an interactive question-answer session with the students. Finally, Ms. Zakia Binte Jamal, faculty; School of Business, IUB appreciated the sincere and continual cooperation of KLA and School of Business, IUB to make this tour as a successful experience.
