The E-Business club, IUB organized a seminar on “Search Engine Optimization: A New Dimension to Increase Profit Margin” on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Dr Manzur Ashraf, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) consultant, Melbourne, Australia was the key speaker of the seminar. He discussed about the optimization of SEO to grow online business link, search engine technique, content of website and other services SEO can provide from start to finish of a business. In particular, he presented the way SEO helps to generate business ideas, direct for searching marketing goal, understanding the competitors and assess the long-term strategy. He also presented some statistical data on various Australian companies which already have increased their profit margin using the SEO tools. The seminar was concluded with a token of appreciation to Dr Ashraf by A.B. Emran Salahuddin, senior lecturer and head, Dept. of MIS along with Mr. Arifur Rahman Khan, lecturer, MIS and other faculty members School of Business.
