IUB, School of Business arranged a guest lecture for MBA students on 20th February, 2017 on “Banking Awareness”. It was delivered by Mr. Alamgir Morshed, managing director and head of financial market, Standard Chartered Bank, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Throughout the lecture, Mr. Morshed spoke about banking function, trade service, fluctuation of foreign exchange, and various other insights of banking and financial services. He also spoke about universal banking service which is no longer an abstract concept; it allows bank to expand their businesses far beyond the limit. The session was concluded with a token of appreciation to Mr. Alamgir Morshed by Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmad, Dean, School of Business along with Dr. Samiul Parvez Ahmed, assistant professor, School of Business, IUB.
