Department of Economics, School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh organized a thesis presentation ceremony for the graduating Msc and Bsc students of Economics on April 6, 2017 in its own campus at Bashundhara. A total of seven supervised theses were defended by the candidates. All theses were reviewed by external experts. A wide range of economic topics of vital importance to Bangladesh economy were covered in their presentations. Prof. Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Dean, School of Business, senior faculty members of the Department of Economics, other faculty members representing different departments of the School of Business and many senior students of Economics major were present in the occasion. Prof. Aminur Rahman, Head of the Department of Economics moderated the thesis presentation ceremony.
