Independent Beta Elites hosted this year’s financial quiz competition Fin Whizz’18 which consisted over 76 enthusiastic teams consisting of 3 members. The competition was immensely exciting and intense and went through 3 phases. The first phase began with a written exam, followed by a buzzer round in the second phase and finally the third phase was a treasure hunt round where each team was given a clue about respected faculties from whom they had to obtain their case study question. The day long program ended with three top teams, Team Corporate Wizards gaining the 1 st position, Team Vendetta as 1st runner up and Team Invisible Hands as the 2nd runner up. The award giving ceremony was hosted by Professor Aminul Karim , Dean School of Business along with Professor Sarwar Uddin Ahmed and Assistant Professor Dr. Samiul Parvez , Head of the department and other respected faculty members of the finance department
