Ms. Nuzhat Sharmeen, Lecturer, Department of Economics presented a paper at the “International Gender Studies Conference 2018: Gender Studies in a Global Perspective” held in Bangkok, Thailand on 4th -5th October, 2018. Ms. Sharmeen presented a paper titled “Policy Differences for Women’s Economic Empowerment in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka” at the Conference. Gender Studies 2018 was hosted by University of Johannesburg, South Africa and was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with Nepal Centre for Contemporary Research, Nepal and University of Peshawar, Pakistan as the academic partner of the Conference.
