In alignment with the requirements of ACBSP accreditation, The School of Business, IUB, has been the pioneer in introducing the Global Business Examination (GBE), which is a programmatic outcome based assessment, first time in Bangladesh.
The GBE assessment is provided through an online portal and hosted by Peregrine Academic Services. The online exams are used to evaluate retained student knowledge in relation to the academic program’s learning outcomes. The assessment is specifically designed to address programmatic accreditation requirements related to learning outcomes assessment, quality assurance, and external academic benchmarking.
This assessment is undertaken by all students the School of Business as a part of their internship course. It has been introduced from summer 2018 semester and have received a great welcome from students and faculty members.
Till to date a total of 394 students have undertaken this exam in 3 sittings and results have been very promising and the average score of IUB students show trends of continuous improvement which in the recent times have increased than the average scores of students in other ACBSP non-US schools.
