Independent Economics Society came back with “Brain Teaser 4.0”. This was an intra business school competition including 2 rounds. More than 35 teams participated in this competition. In the first round where teams had to face a challenging MCQ session. From there, only 4 teams were selected for second round, to solve a case study. The top 4 teams were: Team Clueless, Team Flyers, Justice for Chompa and Team SA. Each team was exceptionally well which made the competition even more intense. After a tough competition amongst the top 4 teams, only one team strived towards the victory, and it was Team Flyers! Both the team members, Zareef Akbar and Rasheek Mosharraf Rayat, have won the ultimate championship through sheer hard work and absolute knowledge of the case study to be solved.

We were delighted to have the Dean of Business School, Dr. Md. Aminul karim and Head Of Economics Department, Prof. Aminur Rahman, attend the event and saying lovely words to enlighten the event. Lastly, it was the team effort of Executive Board members of IES and guidance from the club coordinator, Md. Kamrul Islam, which assisted this competition to run smoothly and be a huge success.
