The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), the leading professional accounting body in Bangladesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) with regards to subject waivers in Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification for IUB students on Tuesday 22nd October, 2019. This will encourage our students to pursue CA qualification upon graduation and eventually enhance employability of IUB graduates at the national and global market place.

The Vice Chancellor (Acting), Prof. Milan Pagon signed the MoU on behalf of IUB and for ICAB it was signed by ICAB President Mr. A F Nesaruddin FCA.

The signing was witnessed by the Dean, School of Business, Heads of the Departments at the School of Business, faculty members, students, Vice President of ICAB, Secretary and CEO of ICAB and other officials of ICAB.

The MOU signing ceremony was followed by a Career Excellence Seminar for students conducted by ICAB officials.
