Department of MIS, School of Business (SB), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in association with IUB E-Business Club arranged a seminar on “Roadmap to AACSB – Ins & Outs From The Mentor” on 28th October, 2019 at Faculty Lounge, Room No. 2006. The invited guests of this seminar were Dr. Ed Bashaw, Dean, School of Business, Emporia State University (ESU), USA; Dr Mark Daly, Dean, Office of International Education, ESU and Dr. Mohammed Sajedur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Information Systems, ESU. Prof. Aminul Karim, Dean, School of Business, IUB gave the welcome speech in the seminar. Dr. Bashaw talked about the requirements of AACSB accreditation and provided guidelines regarding what IUB should do to get the AACSB accreditation. All the heads of the departments, faculty members and management staffs were also present on the seminar.
Prof. Karim ended with the vote of thanks. Apart from the seminar, delegates from the Emporia State University also did set up a booth to inform IUB students about the spot admission and assessment process at ESU.
