School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and ACCA, Bangladesh signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Dean, School of Business, IUB Professor Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed and Ms. Mohua Rashid, Head of ACCA Bangladesh signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The MoU is aimed at furthering collaboration and partnership between the two esteemed organisations to support students pursuing an education in finance and accountancy, and to build capacity in the profession to support Bangladesh’s economic growth.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Samiul Parvez Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Finance, IUB, Dr. Rushdi Md. Rezaur Razzaque, Assistant Professor of Accounting, IUB, Ms. Prawma Tapashi Khan, Education Manager of ACCA Bangladesh, Ms. Rehana Sultana Shammi, Asst.Manager-University Relations, ACCA Bangladesh and a few other senior lecturers from Independent University Bangladesh.
