Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed (Professor and Dean, SB) and Dr. Samiul Parvez Ahmed (Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Finance, SB) actively participated in the 3rdInternational Conference on Business, Economics, Management and Marketing at the University of Oxford, Oxford, UKon 13th– 15th March, 2017. Dr. Sarwar Ahmed inaugurated the conference as a Keynote presenter. Dr. Ahmed presented his research paper on behavioral issues that influences decisions of investors in the emerging market and their impacts on investment performances. Subsequently, he chaired a session where he provided valuable insights to other presenters and handed over certificates to the participants. Dr. Samiul Ahmed presented a research paper on the corporate governance issues of the banking sector of Bangladesh and also chaired a session.
