Department of Management, School of Business, IUB officially inaugurated the newly formed club named “Independent Managerial Society” (IMS) on 20th March, 2017 with the mission of creating bridge between academia and the corporate world. Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed Dean, School of Business, Professor Nadim Jahangir and senior faculty members, department of management, jointly held the logo of crest to officially announce IMS. Mr Syed Shahriar Ahsan, Managing Director, Sadharan Bima Corporation was the chief guest in the occasion. Mr. Ahsan shared his 30 years of working experience and ideas about the importance of motivational wheel, power of great leader and leadership skills. In particular, he spoke about the value of motivation and leadership skills for organizational success. He also guided students how to become a successful future business leader. Finally, Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed Dean, School of Business gave a vote of thanks and concluded with the token of appreciations to the honorable guests, Mr Syed Monirul Huq, Managing Director of Prime Insurance Company Ltd and Mr Syed Shahriar Ahsan, Managing Director of Sadharan Bima Corporation with the presence of Professor Nadim Jahangir and other faculty, management and other faculty members School of Business. Mr. Mr Iftekhar Mahfuz, faculty and coordinator of IMS organized and moderated the session.
