Recently, Independent HR Society (IHRS), School of Business, IUB has successfully organized a “Four module Internship Workshop”; Self-Assessment, Resume Writing, Explore Your Organizations, and Interview Skills” for the summer semester, 2017. The workshop equipped the students with the insights of future career plan, skill requirement, present employment trends, job search, youth employment, and other issues of employability. Senior executives from leading organizations such as; Lanka Bangla Finance Limited, IDLC, Agrani Bank limited, Green Delta Insurance Co Ltd, Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL), United Commercial Bank UCB, MIDAS Financing Limited, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), and BRAC Bank Ltd. participated in this session. Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Dean of the Business School inaugurated the “Mock Interview” session. End of the session, all HR professionals’ provided feedback to the students and discussed several issues related to the present job market and youth unemployment trends. Mrs. Asma Banu, Internship Coordinator, School of Business of IUB conducted the sessions and discussed important areas of career development.
