Prof. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Dean, IUB School of Business participated in the Silk Road International Production Capacity Cooperation High-Level Conference and also the Inaugural Meeting of Alliance of Belt and Road Business Schools (ABRBS)held in Harbin, China on 26th August, 2017. IUB School of Business has been selected as a Member of this consortium and is the only business school representing Bangladesh with the theme of One Country One Business School.
Being a member of this consortium IUB School of Business (ISB) has become one of the members of the Elite Business Schools comprising of business schools from 67 countries in the Silk Road. This will provide opportunities to the member business schools to promote cooperation by organizing joint teaching, research and academic exchange of students and faculty members to foster production capacity through industrial collaboration.
Prof. Sarwar also signed anMoU with Wenzhou Overseas Entrepreneur Chamber of Commerce on behalf of School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh to promote bilateral cooperation on the issues of technological production capacity output, national research, investment environment analysis and other relevant issues.
