The Department of Finance, School of Business is very pleased to announce the inauguration of its first official club, The Independent Beta Elites. On its very first day of its inception the Club has successfully organized two events back to back. An engaging discussion session was held where the Dean School of Business Prof Dr. Mohd Aminul Karim along with Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Professor of Finance, Dr Samiul Parvez Ahmed, Head, Department of Finance and respected faculty members joined with finance major students and alumnis from our honor society gathered to share their insights on the pros and cons of the finance and department. The discussion was followed by a seminar on the scope of studying Finance for the new upcoming and potential finance major students. Dr Samiul Parvez, HOD of Finance department gave an overview about the finance department, the real motivation about studying finance. The event was further enlightened by real life examples and motivational speech shared by distinguished alumni Ms Shahnaz Islam and Mr. Christopher Sangma.
