IUB Social Welfare Club (IUBSWC), with the collaboration of Crime Research and Analysis Foundation (CRAF), organized a seminar on ‘Cyber-bullying & Drug Abuse Awareness’ on 7th November, 2018. The main purpose of this seminar was to address and aware students regarding Online behaviors, bullying or harassment using social media and prevent them from substance abuse. Ms. Janefar Alam, President of Crime Research and Analysis Foundation (CRAF) rendered her key note speech regarding cyberbullying and drug abuse. This was followed by Mr. Mohammed Tabarak Ullah, Superintendent of Police, National Emergency Service 999, Mr. Hasan Masud, Actor, Former Journalist and Military officer, Mr. Solaiman Shukhon, Head of Corporate & Regulatory affairs, Nagad and Motivational Speaker and Mr. Saimum Ahmed, Sr. Lecturer, School of Law, BRAC University and Techno-Legal head, CRAF.

Prof. Mohd. Aminul Karim, Dean, School of Business, Prof. Dr. Shahriar Khan, Former Dean, School of Engineering also discussed various aspects of Cyber-bullying and Drug Abuse in this seminar. The seminar was ended with a note of thanks by Prof. Dr. Shibli Noman Khan, Head, Department of HRM. Ms. Bushra Sanjana, Lecturer, Department of HRM coordinated the entire event.
