Independent Beta Elites (IBE) successfully hosted their flagship event Finwhizz 2019 on 27th June 2019. The competition had two rounds and both the rounds where completed on the same day. In round one the participants had to answer 25 multiple choice question and in round two the top 7 teams had to answer a finance based case. With a total of 60 teams consisting 180 participants (3 members per team), only 7 teams made it to the final round. Among these 7 teams, Team “Beta” became the champion, team “Calculator” became the first runners up and team “Titans” become the second runners up. In the presence of the honorable Dean of School of Business Dr. Aminul Karim, Head of the Finance Department Dr. Samiul Parvez Ahmed and IBE club coordinator and senior lecturer Mohammad Fahad Noor, lecturer Ms Zaima Ahmed hosted the awarding ceremony. Lastly, for this year, the Finwhizz 2019 came to an end with a group photo session.
