On 4th July 2019, Department of Finance, School of Business in coordination with its club, the Independent Beta Elites, arranged an industrial tour at a new project sight of ABC Limited. The tour was arranged for the students of Finance department to give them an understanding of current scenario of the real estate industry. The session began with an overview on the current scenario of real estate industry by Md. Fahad Noor, Senior Lecturer, IUB and D.N Chatterjee, Chief Operating Officer, ABC Ltd. The session was followed by discussion and questions and answer session with students. Furthermore, the students were very excited to be able to have a firsthand knowledge in the making of the one of the biggest project of ABC limited, The OASIS. The project started on September, 2017 and is supposed to be completed by 2022. The Department of Finance is very thankful for the hospitality and knowledge dissemination by the ABC Ltd. Most importantly The Department of Finance, School of Business deeply appreciates the encouragement and support by Mr. Rashed Chowdhury, the former Chairman, IUB Board of Trustee and Chairman of ABC building products limited for giving such amazing opportunity.
