IUB E BUSINESS CLUB arranged two months long nationwide business competition on digital marketing titled “Savsol Lubricants Presents Connect 2021”. Recently, the session has come to end with full of learning experience, excitement and above all represented IUB into different segment. IUB E Business Club has taken initiative for this event since November 2020. Total one hundred and three (103) teams from public and private universities across the country registered for the competition. The competition was divided into four rounds. From the first round 50 teams were selected for the second round where they presented their digital marketing ideas. Then top 20 teams got their semi-final tickets, and, in the semi-final round teams were divided into 5 groups from where only the best team of each group was selected to the final round to present their activation plan and strategies. It was tougher for the judges to select the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up team as each team showed their best aspect of digital marketing strategies.
The Champion crown goes to Team Wolfpack from Bangladesh University of Professionals, the first runner-up title went to team Strangers of Mohammadpur from the same university and team Levi Squad from IBA, Jahangirnagar University got 2nd Runner Up position.
The entire event was monitored by Md. Aminul Islam, Lecturer, Department of MIS, School of Business and Entrepreneurship, IUB and Coordinator, IUB E Business Club and guided by Dr. Rezwanul Alam, Head, Department of MIS, School of Business and Entrepreneurship, IUB.
It is notable to mention that members of the IUB E Business Club have done a great job as a team. The team was led by Abdullah Sheikh Mohammad who ensured the smooth moving of each step of the competitions.
