The School of Business, IUB organized a seminar titled “Effective Information System for Efficient HR” on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at IUB. The aim of this seminar was to facilitate the students’ better understanding of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) as a partial fulfillment of HRM 390 and HRM 360 courses. Mr. Arif Rana, Associate Professor, UITS was the key speaker of the seminar, shared his profound knowledge and experiences to the students on various topics around HRIS. In particular, he demonstrated an orientation on HRIS to assure our students’ efficiency coping with upcoming market challenges. The seminar was concluded with a question answer session. Faculty members of HRM Department, School of Business, IUB were also present on the session. Dr. Ikramul Hasan, Senior lecturer, School of Business, introduced the Key Speaker to the audience while Dr. A. N. M. Shibly Noman Khan, Head of the Department of HRM delivered the vote of thanks.
