Independent Human Resource Society (IHRS) for the first time organized CorpoTalk Spring 2019. The event was based on the topic “Presentation and Leadership Skills” and the chief guest was the HR Director of Nestlé Bangladesh Limited, Ms. Fatema Rizwana. A dynamic personality in the field of corporate and development, who also has insurmountable experience in the varied industries for more than two decades. Head, Department of HRM, Dr. A. N. M Shibly Noman Khan, IHRS Club Coordinator, Ms. Sariat Rafa Khan, Deputy Director, School of Business, Ms. Samina Kabir along with other lecturers from School of Business were present in this event.

Throughout the session, Ms. Fatema Rizwana had the floor and delivered the talk about educational and professional advice, it was the students who were greatly benefited. She summarized her talk into twofold. First she focused onto what Nestlé Bangladesh Limited does and how it adds value on the lives of the daily consumers. On the latter part of the talk, she emphasized onto the rightful manner of how a presentation should be delivered and how drastically the situation will get different once the students finishes their academic life and jump onto the professional sphere. She also discussed what ‘Good Leadership’ means. “Throughout my job career I have had the opportunity of working with A-class leaders and the fact that I got the exposure from them built me what I am today,” said Ms. Rizwana while sharing her life experiences with the audience.

The program ended with question and answer session from the faculty members, as well as students. Dr. A. N. M Shibly Noman Khan acknowledged the valuable presence and honored the chief guest with vote of thanks and a crest as a token of appreciation.
