Dr. A N M Shibly Noman Khan, Associate Professor, Head of the Department, Human Resource Management, Independent University Bangladesh.
Dr. Khan appeared on Independent Television to join a talk regarding Human Resources.
Dr. Khan explained that the Human Resource Department is undergoing remarkable developments and well aware after the horrifying incidents of Rana Plaza and Tazreen Fashion back in 2013.
He strongly believes that in order to maximize profit of any business organization the creation of an experienced and a pool of expert workforce is inexplicably important. He added how Human Resource Department in Bangladesh has changed over a couple of years, the introduction of critical thinking and warrior concept and measurement of an employee by means of KPI answers the questions.
Dr. Khan also shared how he acts in matters to develop the Human Resource Department of Independent University Bangladesh in a practical manner apart from knowledge gathered from the book. The department of the university arranges workshops where HR Heads and CEO’s are invited to share their words and experience, industrial visits by human resource department students to different industries in every semester and human resource professionals conducting random sessions during classes.
Dr. Khan expects the upcoming generation to take Human Resource Department to a higher level by developing skills using emotional intelligence, leadership quality and software development as an enabling tool.
The gentleman with over 20 years of teaching experience also happens to be the advisor of 2 strongest clubs (IUB Social Welfare Club and Independent Human Resource Society). And the accomplishments made by these vibrant clubs presents his determination to achieve several milestones and set an example of the Human Resource Department of the country.
